After Windows sees a monitor on each connection, the screen resolution panel in windows shows both GPUs working at the same time even though only one has an active monitor. Windows finds the monitor and the desktop pops into place. I use the on-screen display of the monitor to select between displayport and HDMI source while windows is booting or soon after. If those options don't show up, check that both the PCIE controller and integrated graphics are enabled in Extreme Tweaking > Tweaker's Paradise at the bottom of the page. They do coexist, unlike drivers from direct competitors like AMD and Nvidia. I have AMD drivers installed for the discrete card AND Intel drivers installed for the integrated. ![]() I connect displayport to the discrete VGA card and an HDMI cable to the motherboard IO panel for the integrated graphics. You don't mention the monitor, but does it have more than one connection? Mine has displayport and HDMI. ![]()
